How to Set Up a Local FRC

Procedures and requirements for starting a local expression of a U of N Family Resource Centre:

  1. The leaders of a local expression of the FRC must be full-time YWAM staff people in good standing with a local YWAM base/U of N campus.
  2. FRC leaders at a given location are to be approved and confirmed by the mutual consent of the local YWAM base/U of N campus leadership and the FRC International Committee.
  3. To be recognized as a local expression of the FRC, there must be evidence of a broad-based focus of ministry. A local expression of the Family Resource Centre must have more than a single focus (i.e. it must promote more than one resource, or one particular ministry). A local expression of the FRC recognizes its commitment to contribute regularly to the international FRC resource pool. It embraces U of N Values, YWAM values and YWAM Family Ministry values.
  4. A local expression of the FRC consciously pursues active partnerships with other ministries and organizations (both inside YWAM/U of N and outside YWAM/U of N) that have similar goals towards family issues.
  5. To apply for official recognition as a local expression of the U of N Family Resource Centre, send your request to Larry Ballard, 374 Bree Dr., Milton, WI 53563 USA, e-mail: This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it , tel. 608-868-7333
